I am a highly experienced and qualified software developer, with 17 years experience in web development (HTML/CSS, Javascript, XML, and JQuery), working extensively with PHP for the last eight years. I am a skilled software developer and spatial analyst with deep experience in many languages, operating systems, database management systems (RDMS), web technologies, with this I also have a excellent knowledge of geospatial data, software packages (ESRI ArcGIS), and a passion and a depth of experience with open source software, platforms and data.
My passion for people, technology, along with my science qualifications (B.Sc) and extensive information technology experiences provide me ability to; develop & connect; desktop & web applications, with open source hardware & software, and publicly accessible data, with real-world sensors into useful information platforms. I Am also a passionate runner and sometimes cyclist. I have competed in 6 marathons, finishing 5. I have cycled from Cairns to Cooktown (340km), Competed in various multisport adventure races. My big goal for this year (2013) is to complete another marathon, The Melbourne Marathon. And my goal for the next next 5 years is to run the Great Wall Marathon.
